Today’s MMA training was all about drilling techniques. We did some combinations, takedowns, and submissions. Then we went into some light/flow sparring. To finish the training we did situps with a partner and a medicine ball. You receive the ball, hold your legs up, and move it from left to right and backward. As you go backward, someone hits you in the belly with a pad and you throw the ball back to the partner. A tough finisher and a good sweat. Now I’m going to get a good night of sleep in.
