Next Sunday someone I train with a lot has his first mma match. In preparation for his fight we have been doing a lot of conditioning work and sparring. The workout started with 2 rounds of 3 minute ground and pound on a pad to get warm. Then we practiced many combinations that all ended in a shoot where the other sprawls for defense. Last but not least we sparred for 20 minutes ending with 2 rounds of 3 minutes of kicks on the pads. Today felt good, still feeling very strong in my workouts.
